For the upcoming school year we anticipate having numerous school bus driver positions available.  The Transportation Department asks that you assist in recruiting new bus drivers by speaking to family, neighbors and friends who may desire a great part-time (and some full-time) job.

Interested drivers must take 3 days of classroom and 3 days of on-the-road training to obtain a bus license (Class B CDL with Passenger & School Bus Endorsements).  The training is offered at no cost.

Please contact Tonya Cantrell, for sign up information, by Email or 704-245-6702 ext 7112. For basic information and qualifications on becoming a school bus driver, check out this brochure.

If you currently hold a Rowan Salisbury School System Class B CDL and pocket card with Passenger & School Bus Endorsements license, and are wanting to inquire about a part-time (possibly full-time) job, please contact Janice Query by Email or 704-245-6702 ext.7110 for information.
