JCHS-Lunch and Learn
Jesse Carson High School celebrated “Legislative Day” with a visit from Chris Estes, the Chief Information Officer for NC Governor Pat McCrory. Mr. Estes participated in a “lunch and learn” with students in Amie Williams' Contemporary Studies class. Mr. Estes talked with students about his role in government, his educational background, his journey to an appointed office, among other topics of discussion. Students showcased their "Be The Change" projects to Mr. Estes that was followed by a tour of the school including the CTE and Arts classes.
