Teacher of the Year 2013 Ms. Crystal Ellis, 4th Grade, 21st Century Teacher Ms. Ellis has been teaching for 6 years, all of which have been at Hanford Dole in the 4th grade and also a 21st Century Teacher. She also has been a cooperating teacher for a student teacher and a mentor for a beginning teacher. She loves incorporating technology into her lessons and allowing students to explore and demonstrate their creativity and have more ownership in their work. Ms. Ellis believes that if students have more ownership in what they do they will be more excited about learning and coming to school. |
