 Reading -skill: compare/contrast, drawing conclusions,   genre=realistic fiction and non-fiction, Daily 5, fluency practice, conferencing

 

Grammar—review of verbs, pronouns, adjectives,adverbs

 

 

Spelling—contractions, a and be words, VCCV words

Writing—  research/note taking, compare and contrast essay of school 100 years ago vs today

 

Math— fluency tests, mental math,   1 min. drill, naming fractions as parts of a whole or a group, equivalent fractions

Social Studies--natural/human/capital resources

 

 

 

Science—solar system--planet study
