Southeast Middle School, the Home of the Patriots, is located in the southeast region on Rowan County. The school opened in October 2000 making it the newest middle school in Rowan County. It currently houses over 720 students grades sixth through eighth. Southeast is unique in that our sixth grade students come from fifteen elementary schools, and we send rising freshmen to at least four of the area high schools.
Southeast Middle celebrates diversity as we have students from all over the world. Over 20 different nationalities from Mexico, Central American, Europe, Asia, and Canada as well as students from 30 various states comprise our student body.
In addition to offering students a rigorous academic schedule, we provide the students the opportunity to participate in a wide range of athletic teams. Also, the school currently offers over 32 various clubs to the students.
