Welcome Parents and Students!
It has been a pleasure working with you this school year. Along with our class newsletter, you can also check this district webpage to catch up on class events.
Reading-We will continue to work on the strategy of inferring as students learn about the economy of the Coastal Plains of North Carolina.
Math- We are working on solving fraction problems, such as finding an equivalent fraction and using 1/2 as a benchmark fraction.
Science- Students will watch video clips and participate in lessons about recognizing the basic forms of energy, light, heat, electricity, and magnetism.
Reminders- Please check your child's agenda and sign it daily. Be sure to follow uniform dress code. As the weather gets cooler, please remember that all sweaters must be solid red, gray, or navy blue. Homework is still assigned Monday-Thursday, usually in Reading and Math.
