Welcome to Mrs. Daye's 4th Grade/AIG Page
Contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Welcome to my webpage. I have been teaching gifted children since I graduated from Mars Hill College in 1985, where I earned a BA in English and a minor in Gifted Education. I love the way gifted children think :) At Hanford Dole I wear many hats: teacher, Site Support Leader (helping new teachers), Science Fair Coordinator, and School Improvement Team Representative. I also have my Master's Degree from UNC-Greensboro in Administration and Curriculum Supervision. This is my 7th year at Hanford Dole. Please check back frequently for updates about upcoming events. I love technology and try to communicate this way if at all possible. I have two other pages linked to this page: 1) the Project Page and 2) The Help Page. Both these pages have helpful links and documents to keep you informed and to help your student at home.
This year our class will be taught as an AIG cluster classroom with no AIG pullouts. This means that in our class we have both AIG identified students and those students that were recommended by their teachers as having strong abilities in reading and/or math. The pace may be a bit faster and the curriculum a bit deeper, but we will challenge each student to his or her full potential.
Remind 101: This is a brand new way to get connected to everything we do in Mrs. Daye's Class.
Here's how to join. From your cell phone text the following numbers. I will send a confirmation text to you and then you will be added to my contact list. When there is an update that I want to send, I can easily send one text to everyone. Please do not reply to the texts because they will not come back to me.
