Welcome to Kindergarten
Wow! Can you believe this year is almost over. We have had a wonderful and exciting year of learning. I am so proud of our students. They have worked so hard and have learned so much. Just a few reminders- please be sure to review school rules with your child and check and sign their agenda each day. This is our main communication to and from school so be sure to sign the agenda each day. Please review your child's work in their Tursday folder to see what they can improve on or Just need a little extra help on. Thank you for all your help in making this a great first year for your child.

Homework:
Homework will be sent home on Monday of each week in a homework folder. Your child will have a letter/ sound worksheet to do, a math worksheet and write their popcorn word 5 times. Homework is due on Thursday in their homework folder. Baggie books will come home on Monday and Wednesday. Please read with your child 2 times on each book.
Uniform Policy: Polo shirt (any solid color); Kaiki, black or navy pants, skirt or shorts; a belt; closed toe and heel shoes. Our room is cool at times, your child may wear a plain sweatshirt (no hood), or a sweater (no hood); both must be a solid color.
We are starting a new kind of communication for classroom updates. To begin receiving text alerts from Mrs. Webb you will need to register your cell phone number. To register send the message @bdf1 to 704-754-4749. After texting the start message you then will receive a text asking for your name.
Important dates:
May 27 - No School
June 4 - Kindergarten Graduation and Awards Day at 10:30
June 6 - Field Day
June 7 - Kindergarten Beach Day (more information to come) and last day of school
