Hello and welcome to my school webpage! I am a Rowan County native and received my education in Rowan County Schools! I graduated from East Rowan Sr. High School followed by both UNC - WIlmington and then also from UNC - Charlotte. I have degrees in both Psychology and Elementary Education, and I am currently enrolled at Catawba College for a Master's degree in General Education. I love my job and enjoy teaching my students about respect, responsibility, and doing the right thing (even when no one is looking)!

Thursday Folders- We will send these home on Thursdays and they are expected back on Friday. Please review your child's work for the week and feel free to keep it. There will also be important communication from our school included.
Visitors- We always welcome visitors at Hanford Dole Elementary. Please know that in order to maximize student learning we need to know in advance of any visit so that it does not cause a disruption to our students. Also, if you want to eat lunch with your child please visit the office for a visitor's tag and come on down. Parents will not come back to the classroom after lunch as we will be working very hard. Thank you.
Homework- Students will receive their homework on Monday and it will need to be turned in on Thursday. Your child will learn how important responsibility is by turning this in on Thursday.
Agenda- You will need to sign this each and every night. This is such an imporant tool in communication during the year. I will check this daily for your signature as well as if you have left me any notes. I look forward to your notes and also getting to send them home to you.
Baggie Books- Each day your child will receive 2 books based on their DRA levels. These are the books we will use for Reading at Home. You will need to read these books to them and also listen to then read the books to you. Please sign the log each night and return it on Thursday.
