Welcome To Mrs. Hogge's Class News
We have started our new school year and everyone is making new friends. Thanks to all our parents for helping make the beginning of a new school year so successful. Students are working hard each day and settling down to a new 1st grade schedule. I am very pleased with what they remember from kindergarten. Next week we will begin Guided Reading Groups and students will be bringing home a leveled reading book to read with you. I do not give a lot of homework each night. I want most of the homework time each night used for reading and studying spelling words.
We eat lunch at 11:05 am. Please join us for lunch when you can. Our first PTA meeting is next Tuesday night, Sept. 18 at 6:30pm. We look forward to seeing you then:)

Lazy 5 Field Trip
First grade classes will be going to Lazy 5 Ranch on Oct.19. Parents are invited to meet us at Lazy 5. More information will be sent home later concerning the trip.
