I would like to welcome you to the Exceptional Children's Department Home Page for the Rowan-Salisbury School System. The mission of the department is to ensure that all children with disabilities, ages three through 21, have available to them a free appropriate public education. The program emphasizes special education and related services designed to meet their unique needs and prepares them for further education, employment, and independent living.
