Welcome to the Granite Quarry Elementary Media Center
Mission Statement:
The School Library Media Center supports the curriculum, school plan, and educational goals of Granite Quarry Elementary School. The library media program provides an environment in which everyone in the school is empowered to become lifelong learners and effective users of information, ideas, and technology.
Resources:
The collection has been developed and organized to provide access to resources that meet the information and literary needs of our students, teachers, and staff. Resources support, enrich and help implement the school's educational program. Selected materials include varying levels of difficulty and appeal to diverse interests.
Services:
The library media program provides authentic, creative learning opportunities and a broad range of support services. The library media specialist collaborates with teachers to design and implement instructional units that help students learn information literacy skills and the research process within the context of the curriculum areas.
Hours of Operation:
The Granite Quarry Elementary School Media Center is open daily from 7:30-3:00
