This web site integrates math, reading, and science! Students as young as second grade would enjoy this site. The audio samples worked well on this site. |
| Playmusic.org ~ This site is really easy to use and could be used by your youngest students - in fact my 16 month old grandson likes it when I take him there. The audio samples played without any difficulty. For older students, the information on how the instrument is played is excellent. |
| Dallas Symphony ~ This site is also really well done. It has a section for kids and a section for teachers. In the kids section there is an orchestra seating chart, an instrument encyclopedia, a “make your own instruments” section and an excellent section telling students how to practice. This section would be great for beginning band, orchestra or piano students. I had more difficulty with audio samples on this site on my Mac. Audio samples use windows media player. |
