What's happening at Shive?
August
24th - Open House
8:30-9:00 5th grade
9:30-10:00 4th grade
11:30-12:00 3rd grade
12:30-1:00 2nd grade
1:30-2:00 1st grade
2:30-3:00 Kindergarten
At Open House, parents will meet with teachers in the Shive Hive where teachers will briefly speak on expectations for the upcoming year. The school will be open until 4:00.
Class list will not be posted until their assigned time.
25th -1st Day of School!
26th - Boy Scout meeting
28th - Shive t-shirt and jeans day!
September
7th - No School - Labor Day
28th - No School - Teacher Workday
29th - 1st Quarter Progress Reports
October
29th - Early Release Day - Dismiss at TBA.
End of First Quarter!
30th - No School - Teacher Workday
November
10th - 1st Quarter Report Card issued

Shive School Improvement Team
Our School Improvement Team has developed a plan that will benefit all of our students. All meetings are open meetings that are held in the Media Center at 3:15. We encourage parents to attend. The next meeting will be: TBA
